Part-time Food Service Associate

Immanuel Communities is seeking a Food Service Associate to work at Deerfield, located at 13731 Hickman Road, Urbandale, IA 50323. Deerfield has 122 independent living apartment homes, 32 independent living patio homes, 20 assisted living, 24 residential care apartment homes and 30 long-term care/skilled nursing suites.

This position will pay up to $17.42/hour. Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

What You Will Do

The primary responsibilities of a Food Service Associate include assisting in patient tray line assembly and related duties such as loading, operating, and cleaning the dishwasher. Assists in the service of meals to cafeteria patrons and operates the cash register. Also maintains the records, inventories, surveys, and other controls relevant to the cafeteria.

Skills & Requirements

Previous food service experience preferred.

Must be 18 years of age or older.
For cafeteria duties, cash handling experience preferred.
