Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly/quarterly/year-end financial statements
  • Responsible for general ledger accounting, cash management, investment activities, and AP/AR.
  • Payroll (ADP Experience Preferred) 
  • Develop indirect cost schedule and work with various clients for acceptance.
  • Analyze and negotiate employee health insurance plans.
  • Oversee business insurance needs for renewal and negotiation.
  • Coordinate Annual Tax Returns.
  • Administration of Company Benefit Programs (401k, ESOP, etc.).
  • Oversee financial statement review and benefit plan audits by external CPA.
  • Manage leasing (office space and equipment).
  • Complete governmental agency reporting.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Candidate does not need to be licensed.)
  • 10-15 years of experience in an accounting role.
  • 10+ years experience working in an accounting role for a small professional services business preferred.
  • Experience with a wide variety of corporate needs for a small business.
  • Proficiency in excel and accounting software.
  • Works autonomously, and within the corporate team.
  • Ability to take direction, express understanding, work as a team member and report progress.
  • Ability to provide direction to others. 

Compensation

The estimated compensation range for this position is $100,000 to $130,000 base salary, and this position is eligible for performance-based bonus. This range is an estimate for this posting. Actual compensation is dependent upon education, experience, and skills.
