SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF WORK
The Prevention Specialist works with Heartland Family Service’s Iowa Prevention Team to implement and carry out pieces of the Integrated Provider Network Prevention work plan. This person will also be involved in prevention efforts to Schools, Law Enforcement Agencies, Medical Personnel, community members, and Legislators, building interest for participation and direct involvement in prevention activities and strategies. Decision-making skills and problem-solving capabilities are essential qualities.
Compensation: between $41,300 and $52,249 per year (determined by total years of relevant experience)
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
