Job Title:  Computer Support Assistant (District)          

Job Code:  4108

Number of Days Worked:  10 Month 

Department:  Information Systems & Technology

FLSA Status:  Non-Exempt

Immediate Supervisor: District Personnel, Chief Information Officer

Staff Supervised:  none

Essential Requirements: (Education, Certification, Extended Experience and Technical Skills)

General:

  1. No history of child abuse or negligence
  2. Some college preferred
  3. Previous experience working on a helpdesk and with software support
  4. Exceptional collaboration, oral and written skills
  5. Successfully pass required background checks.
  6. Regular and dependable in person attendance is required and is considered a condition of employment.
  7. The assigned duties of this position are not eligible for remote work consideration.

Technical Skills:

  1. Windows Desktop
  2. Word Processing applications
  3. SpreadSheet applications
  4. Understanding the functionality of databases
  5. Web browsers 

Essential Responsibilities:  (Job Tasks)

General Responsibilities:

  1. Answers phones, greets students/employees and assists with communications to computer users as the first point of contact for building technology areas.
  2. Coordinates and oversees the checking in/out of building technology.
  3. Maintains inventory of the District’s hardware and software for assigned building.
  4. Completes assigned technical, data entry and record keeping tasks for the Technology Division and the assigned building technology area.
  5. Monitors compliance with district technology policies and standards.
  6. Other duties as assigned

At Will Employment: Employment with ESU #3 is not for any period of time, and employment may be terminated at any time at the convenience of the terminating party, with or without cause, and with or without notice.  Employment with ESU #3 is not governed by any express or implied contract of employment containing terms different from or inconsistent with those stated in this employment agreement.  The terms of this employment agreement may not be modified except in a writing signed by the ESU #3 Administrator.
