In addition to intramural funding, current extramural funding for our group is from AHRQ – Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (R01), NIH – National Institute on Drug Abuse (K23), NIH – National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (R13), Foundation for Anesthesia Education and Research (Resident Scholar, Medical Student Anesthesia Research Fellowship programs), and Society of Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists Kaplan Leadership Award. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic group and will receive significant mentoring in manuscript/grant writing, including training junior trainees.
