In order to ensure your application is complete, you must complete the following:The Associate Project Manager reporting to either the Supervisor of Facilities Project Management or Facilities Senior Project Manager, supportsthe College of Medicine (CoM) by coordinating building services and providing assistance covering research, administrative and academic spaces.
Collaborates with building tenants and Facilities Operations and Development (FOD) in a broad range of project planning and implementation,such as, annual access and asset audits, crisis management activities, scheduled maintenance, environmental safety, life safety and communication with building occupants and relevant stakeholders.
Promotes a safe and secure environment through maintaining the security access system and coordinating facility access requests. Identifies, investigates and resolves research, administrative, or academic compliance related issues in coordination with CoM facilities team.
provides exceptional customer service and performs duties that may include scheduling of shared resources and/or spaces, event support and project/administrative support.
Conducts annual signage review in all CoM facilities.
Submits all Workday requisitions for blanket PO's, etc. for the upcoming fiscal year.
Manages all Surplus submissions.
Performs additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Minimum Education/Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. A minimum of 0-1 year of experience in a facility services capacity to include facilities maintenance and building security desired, preferably in a medical or health sciences research setting; basic knowledge of ADA and OSHA health & safety requirements highly desired; ability to lift 30lbs or more; computer skills required with knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications desired. Requires successful completion of a background check. Selected candidate may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen.
