Provides hardware and infrastructure support for customers at assigned refinery or field locations. This position works closely with other information technology specialists, integrators, and supervision as applicable to ensure the computing environment, assets, and supporting architecture are reliable and secure while also ensuring adherence to corporate standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primary responsibilities include Service Desk support/tickets, direct customer support, and on-going technology maintenance as assigned. Work scope includes desktop and laptop computer hardware on the Business LAN and for Refinery Product Control Laboratories; Microsoft operating system software and configuration; application software installation/deployment; networked and stand-alone printers/copiers/scanners multifunction devices; remote access technology; network switched Ethernet cabling; audio visual equipment; end-user telecom devices such as telephones and mobile devices; basic server and network administration and monitoring.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Two years of experience in an information technology or business-related field
SKILLS:
Workstation and related software, connectivity, server, backup, security, and other equipment-based IT support
Employee must be able to obtain a TWIC.
Employee must be able to lift at least 20 pounds.
This position will require some fieldwork inside the refinery process units.
