Physician / Gastroenterology / South Carolina / Locum tenens / Gastroenterologist Job

Start date: As soon as credentialed ? Ongoing

Schedule: 24-hour call coverage, 7am?7am; one 7-day stretch required per month (Friday to Friday)

Practice setting: Hospital ? Inpatient

Patient load: Approximately 16?18 patients during full-day Endo sessions; clinic volume 3 patients per hour

Ages: Adults

Procedures required: EGD, Colonoscopy, Flex Sig; scheduled Endoscopy lab procedures (half-day blocks); follow-up clinic required

Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology, SC Medical License, SC CSR, permanent DEA registered in SC, 5 years of experience, moderate sedation credentialing, experience with endoscopic procedures

Other:EMR is EPIC; clinic support includes 1 PA, 1 LPN or MA; Endoscopy support includes RN, CRNA, tech; inpatient consult NP support M?F; onboarding/orientation required prior to first shift (weekdays only); travel and lodging covered.
