Inside Sales Rep Trailers / Hopper / Dry Bulk Job in Council Bluffs, IA

Company is seeking to hire an INSIDE SALES REP to provide ADMINISTRATIVE & SALES SUPPORT for the Territory and Branch Sales Reps in the direct SALES of all TRAILERS both new and used (Agricultural Trailers; Semi-Trailer, Dry Bulk, Hopper etc.)

REQUIREMENTS

Must possess or be able to gain an understanding of the Hopper and Agriculture (AG) industry.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Prior Sales experience preferred: We need a candidate with 1 to 3 years of sales experience and an agriculture background; Semi-Trailer, Dry Bulk, Hopper

Agriculture sales background is a huge plus

POSITION: Inside Sales Rep Trailers / Hopper / Dry Bulk

LOCATION: Council Bluffs, Iowa

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

FACILITATE AND MANAGE SALES: Answer and address all incoming calls & walk-in customers pertaining to sales; Sell new and used trailers in store and in the field as required; Assist Customers during trailer delivery; Develop understanding of used trailer values and competitors product line; Prepare sales quotes for customers; Must work closely with Customer Service in David City, Nebraska, including setting up releases for customers picking up in David City.

MANAGE THE SALES LOT AND INVENTORY: Create and process purchase orders and reconditioning bills for used trailers & any repairs or modifications to new trailers as required; Provide specifications and values for used trailers.

Line up freight if delivered to the Branch s or Customer s location & contact customer for timely delivery

Maintain a weekly delivery log for trailers to be delivered in the following week

Performs additional duties as assigned by management or required by the position.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Must possess or be able to gain an understanding of the Hopper and Agriculture (AG) industry
